OSO BIOLOGICS / SOURCING CAPABILITIES
Human serum & plasma.
Source human serum and plasma samples matched to your assay development and diagnostic research requirements. Oso Biologics coordinates hospital and laboratory sourcing around the clinical criteria that make a specimen useful to your team.
Request a quoteDefine the sample before the collection
A serum or plasma request needs more than a sample count. Tell us which matrix your assay uses, the target analyte or clinical condition, the concentration range, and the volume needed from each donor. For plasma, include the required anticoagulant. We review those requirements with our sources before confirming availability.
Normal, disease-state, and matched specimens
Requests can include normal human serum, disease-state serum, plasma, or matched matrix collections. Specify whether you need unique donors, matched samples from the same donor, or material for a larger-volume project. Available laboratory reports and clinical history are reviewed against the information your project requires.
Remnant or prospective sourcing
Remnant hospital samples may fit projects that need smaller aliquots; typical remnant volumes are 1–2 mL. A prospective collection may be more appropriate when your study requires a defined draw, a larger volume, or matched matrices. Feasibility, documentation, and timing are confirmed for each request.
Common sourcing questions
Can I request clinically well-characterized serum?
Yes. Include the laboratory results, diagnosis, donor information, or clinical history your project requires. We confirm what documentation is available for the proposed samples before proceeding.
Do you supply bulk serum and plasma?
Bulk material is a separate sourcing option. Include the total volume, lot requirements, and testing specifications so we can assess the appropriate collection plan.
