OSO BIOLOGICS / SOURCING CAPABILITIES
Human tissue & biofluids.
Source human tissue and specialized biofluids around the needs of your research protocol. Oso Biologics works with hospital and laboratory sources to evaluate specimen availability, clinical criteria, and collection requirements.
Request a quoteTissue from excisions and biopsies
Tissue sourcing requests can include tonsils, tumors, carcinomas, and other excision or biopsy material. Specify the tissue site, diagnosis, amount required, and acceptable preparation. If pathology information or other clinical documentation is essential, identify the required fields before sourcing begins.
Specialized biofluids
Biofluid requests can include cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), synovial fluid, bronchial lavage (BAL), and other specialized fluids or aspirations. Include the fluid type, minimum usable volume, clinical condition, and any required test results. The source and documentation need to match your criteria, not simply the specimen label.
Preparation and transport matter
State your processing, preservation, storage, and delivery requirements as part of the request. We review them with the sourcing partners when assessing feasibility. Ambient, cool-pack, temperature-controlled, or dry-ice transport can be discussed according to the material and project requirements, with destination import requirements considered for international shipments.
Common sourcing questions
Can I specify tissue preparation requirements?
Yes. Include the required preparation and preservation method in your inquiry. We confirm source capabilities and feasibility before agreeing on the material.
What if my fluid type is not listed?
Send the exact specimen type, clinical criteria, volume, and timeline. The listed materials are examples of sourcing areas; we review specialized requests individually.
