OSO BIOLOGICS / SOURCING CAPABILITIES
Disease-state biospecimens.
Build a specimen request around the clinical condition, test result, or analyte range your diagnostic project needs. Oso Biologics sources disease-state human biospecimens through hospital and laboratory partners.
Request a quoteClinical criteria that guide sourcing
Our sourcing areas include infectious disease, autoimmune and allergy testing, cancer and tumor markers, clinical chemistry, and hematology. These areas describe the requests we can evaluate; specific diagnoses, positive samples, and concentrations depend on source availability and project feasibility.
A positive result is only part of the specification
For a positive-sample request, include the analyte, test method or platform if required, result threshold, and accepted units. If your study needs a diagnosed patient cohort rather than a test-positive sample alone, describe the diagnostic and medical-history requirements separately. This helps us evaluate whether the sample and documentation meet the same study definition.
Match the cohort to your study
Tell us how many unique donors you need, whether negative or normal comparison samples are required, and any age or other donor criteria. We review available laboratory reports and clinical history against your request. Where remnant specimens cannot meet the required cohort or volume, we can discuss prospective collection feasibility.
Common sourcing questions
Can I request a specific analyte concentration?
Yes. State the minimum, maximum, and units, along with any required testing method. We assess whether suitable specimens and supporting results can be sourced.
Is every disease-state sample listed here in stock?
No. Availability and clinical documentation are confirmed individually. Send your requirements so we can evaluate the appropriate sources and collection route.
